Canutillo is a perfect 10-0 against Andress since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Canutillo will head out to challenge Andress at 6:30 p.m. Canutillo is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.

On Thursday, Canutillo was able to grind out a solid win over El Paso, taking the game 5-1.

Emilio Melendez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Noah Pavia, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Andress, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Jefferson a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Silver Foxes recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Canutillo's record now sits at 14-8-1. As for Andress, their record is now 10-11.

Canutillo got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against Andress by a conclusive 11-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Canutillo since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
