Baseball Game Preview: Laredo LBJ Wolves vs. LEE Volunteers

The Laredo LBJ Wolves are taking a road trip to challenge the LEE Volunteers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Laredo LBJ is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Laredo LBJ came up short against Eagle Pass last Friday, falling 13-5. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mark Flores made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

Meanwhile, LEE fell victim to Reagan and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Rattlers. That's two games in a row now that the Volunteers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Laredo LBJ's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for LEE, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-1.

Laredo LBJ beat LEE 8-4 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Volunteers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
