Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Rachel Visser and Kayla Siemers Lead Elcho to Victory

Elcho barely beat Goodman-Pembine the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Elcho never let Goodman-Pembine on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-23.

Leading Elcho to victory were Kayla Siemers and Rachel Visser. Siemers had nine digs and two aces, while Visser had eight kills and three digs. That's the most digs Visser has posted since back in August.

They weren't the only good servers: Elcho was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. They are 7-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Elcho now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Goodman-Pembine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-18.

Elcho didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Dodgeville on the 4th. As for Goodman-Pembine, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Green Bay West on the 11th.
