Rifle kept up with Vail Christian until halftime on Saturday, but afterwards: not so much. The Saints were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Bears. The result was nothing new for Vail Christian, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Rifle with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Susie Irving (2), Lily Greshko, and Annabelle Morris.

Vail Christian pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Rifle, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-1 record this season.

Vail Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rifle, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Coal Ridge on the 29th.
