Basketball Recap: Unity Takes a Loss

After soaring to 64 points the game before, Unity was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They were dealt a 74-20 defeat at the hands of the Cameron Comets. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Comets: they've now lost four in a row.

Unity's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Cameron, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Unity will square off against rival Ladysmith at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cameron is set to challenge their familiar foe Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
