Cy-Fair is a perfect 10-0 against Cypress Creek since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Cy-Fair's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.

If Cypress Creek heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Cy-Fair took over last week. The Bobcats narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Stratford 31-28. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Sean Riegler and Gavin Guzman. Riegler had a great game on Saturday and threw for 328 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Meanwhile, Guzman was balling out in the loss, throwing for 255 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 34 yards.

Meanwhile, Cypress Creek had to suffer through a 49-21 loss at the hands of Memorial. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 696th, while the Mustangs are ranked 158th).

Cypress Creek dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Cy-Fair, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Cy-Fair against Cypress Creek when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 38-0 victory. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
