Volleyball Recap: Payson Starts Season with Victory Against Timpanogos

Payson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Timpanogos Timberwolves on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Lions have beaten the Timberwolves the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Timberwolves has come to flipping the script.

Payson walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Payson will square off against Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Timpanogos, they will head out to take on Ogden at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
