Basketball Recap: Stevensville Comes Up Short

Stevensville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 78-34 loss at the hands of the Butte Central Catholic Maroons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Maroons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 94-40 back in January.

Loss or not, Stevensville got some senior leadership from David Beames and Angus Trangmoe. Beames posted nine points, while Trangmoe put up seven points.

Stevensville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Butte Central Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

Stevensville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-34 loss against Beaverhead County on the 11th. As for Butte Central Catholic, they will take on Frenchtown at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
