Softball Recap: False River Takes a Loss

False River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to Madison Prep Academy. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 13-9 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

False River saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Hadley, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

False River's record is now 10-8-1. As for Madison Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. False River will host Scotlandville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison Prep Academy, they will be playing at home against Livonia at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday.
