Quantico suffers eighth straight loss on the road

Recap: Quantico Warriors vs. Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets

This season hasn't been kind to the Quantico Warriors, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They were beaten by Randolph-Macon Academy 74-22 on Thursday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Quantico in their matchups with Randolph-Macon Academy: they've now lost four in a row.

Chidera George was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds for Randolph-Macon Academy. George is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Bilal Kebbay, who scored nine points along with five assists.

Quantico's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quantico won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tandem Friends at 5:30 p.m. on January 12th. Tandem Friends is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Fork Union Military Academy at 1:00 p.m.
