Basketball Recap: West Marshall Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grand View Christian, West Marshall was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 52-46 W over the Saydel Eagles. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

West Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Saydel, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Marshall will take on South Hamilton in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for Saydel, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Saydel Eagles duke it out with the Perry Bluejays at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Perry knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Saydel likes a good challenge.
