There's no place like home for Crystal City, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Dilley Wolves on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Javelinas in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won seven in a row.

Christopher Mena was a major factor no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Abraham Martinez was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
