Baseball Game Preview: Weston Silver Eagles vs. Kickapoo Panthers

Weston is 9-1 against Kickapoo since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Silver Eagles will face off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Weston fell victim to Barneveld and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 10-0. The Silver Eagles haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Kickapoo lost 13-3 to Ithaca on Thursday.

Kickapoo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Krings, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Kickapoo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Weston, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Weston got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Kickapoo by a conclusive 17-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Silver Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
