Softball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Darrington

Darrington entered their tilt with Muckleshoot Tribal on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Kings with a sharp 12-4 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-8 back in March.

Darrington pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Muckleshoot Tribal, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Darrington will square off against La Conner at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Braves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.18 runs per game on average), something the Loggers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Muckleshoot Tribal, they are taking a road trip to challenge Pope John Paul II at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
