Softball Recap: Crater Takes a Loss

Crater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Spanish Springs Cougars, falling 8-2. The Comets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Crater's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Spanish Springs, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4-1.

Crater didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 defeat against North Valleys on the 28th. As for Spanish Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-2 win against Livingston on the 28th.
