Soccer Recap: Tuscola Has No Trouble Against Freedom

Tuscola kept a clean sheet against Freedom on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 5-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Tuscola, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Gracie Rinker and Avery Roten scored all five of Tuscola's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

The win got Tuscola back to even at 4-4. As for Freedom, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tuscola will venture away from home to square off against North Henderson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tuscola has three straight victories, North Henderson has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch. As for Freedom, they are taking a road trip to take on Burns at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
