Volleyball Recap: King's Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

King's Academy entered their tilt with Priory on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 3rd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-16.

Emerson Kjellesvig paced King's Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Kjellesvig got some help from Michaela Wu and her 22 assists. Wu was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Priory, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9-1 record this season.

King's Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Castilleja at 4:00 p.m. Priory has already played their next matchup (against Crystal Springs Uplands), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
