McGuffey entered their tilt with Carlynton on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 64-38 margin over the Carlynton Cougars. The Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 23 points or more this season.

McGuffey's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Carlynton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

McGuffey will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bishop Canevin at 7:30 p.m. McGuffey knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Bishop Canevin likes a good challenge. As for Carlynton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-54 loss against Ellwood City on the 25th.
