Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Comes Up Short

Northeastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the West Liberty-Salem Tigers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jets of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Northeastern's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for West Liberty-Salem, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northeastern will square off against rival West Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Liberty-Salem is set to take on their familiar foe Mechanicsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
