Basketball Recap: Pikesville Triumphs

Pikesville's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Winters Mill Falcons by a score of 76-65.

When it comes to explaining why Winters Mill lost, don't look at Tommy Hinkhaus. Despite the final result, he went 13-for-17 to rack up 27 points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Hinkhaus now owns an excellent 46.5% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Siegel, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards.

Pikesville's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Winters Mill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Pikesville has already played their next game, a 60-45 loss against Western Tech & Environmental Science on the 13th. As for Winters Mill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-42 defeat against Westminster on the 14th.
