Volleyball Game Preview: Amador Valley Dons vs. Foothill Falcons + Official Tickets

Amador Valley is on a nine-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Foothill is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Dons will host the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Amador Valley and San Ramon Valley, and San Ramon Valley kept the tradition alive. The Dons lost 3-0 to the Wolves on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Dons have suffered since September 25th.

Amador Valley was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made San Ramon Valley work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 27-25, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Foothill made easy work of Livermore on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Foothill was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-10, 25-15.

Foothill's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Amador Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
