Baseball Recap: Beyer Takes a Loss

Beyer's last matchup with Central Valley could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. Beyer came up short against Central Valley, falling 9-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Tuesday.

Beyer saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Capell, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Beyer and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Central Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Beyer didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 loss against Grace Davis on the 25th. As for Central Valley, they have also already played their next match, an 8-4 defeat against Patterson on the 21st.
