Softball Recap: Reese Rockets vs. Kingston Cardinals
Reese barely beat Kingston the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rockets blew past the Cardinals 10-4 on Monday. While the Rockets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-30), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Kylie Soper made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs.
