Volleyball Recap: Tri-City Christian Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Tri-City Christian had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Army-Navy Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 8th.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-27, 25-14, 25-9.

Vaughn Kuder paced Tri-City Christian's offense, picking up 18 kills. Kuder got some help from Logan Daichendt and his 53 assists. Jack Busch controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Tri-City Christian's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-12. As for Army-Navy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Tri-City Christian will host St. Joseph Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Army-Navy, they will square off against King-Chavez Community at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
