After a string of seven wins, Grand County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Beaver Beavers who were credited with the victory. The Beaver Beavers got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Grand County Red Devils' two. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Beaver this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in September.

Ella Munger and Ellie McGuffee scored both of Grand County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Grand County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Beaver, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Grand County will face off against South Summit at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Beaver, they will welcome Draper APA at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
