Basketball Recap: Chopticon Has No Trouble Against Lackey

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Point, Chopticon was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lackey Chargers with a sharp 45-20 win. The game marked the Braves' most dominant victory of the season.

Chopticon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lexi Mcallister, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kirnique Swales, who put up eight points.

The victory got Chopticon back to even at 8-8. As for Lackey, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

When Chopticon and Lackey next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Chopticon will challenge Northern and their five-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, Lackey will try to stop Leonardtown's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
