Basketball Recap: Reading Comes Up Short

Reading was the 65-54 winner over West Catholic when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Reading Red KNights came up short against the West Catholic Burrs on Monday, falling 82-57.

Reading's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for West Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Reading and West Catholic could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Reading (ranked 307th) will meet Spring-Ford (ranked 134th) at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, West Catholic will challenge Father Judge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 268 places (289 vs. 21).
