Western Wayne came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Trojans back in March, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Western Wayne was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 18-25, 25-23.

John Pyatt paced Western Wayne's offense, picking up 17 kills. Pyatt got some help from Theo Black and his 33 assists. Braden Laity controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Western Wayne pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
