With a playoff win on the line, Brush rose to the challenge on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Delta Panthers with a sharp 28-7 victory. The Beetdiggers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Ritchie Bruno had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 166 yards and two touchdowns. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing two fumbles, making nine total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defending two passes.

Bruno was just one part of a punishing run game: Brush was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 317 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 243 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Brush's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.6 points over those games. As for Delta, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Brush will face off against Elizabeth at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Beetdiggers will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven contests. Delta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
