Football Recap: Centennial Starts off Right with Win over Compton Early College

Centennial had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix 48-6. The Apaches have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rising Phoenix, too.

Looking ahead, Centennial will take on Compton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Compton Early College, they will square off against Magnolia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
