Whiting was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 78-45 loss at the hands of the Calumet New Tech Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Oilers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-48 two weeks ago.

Leading Calumet New Tech to victory were Johnny Hudson and Eric Allen. Hudson went 7 of 13 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds, while Allen went 7 of 15 on his way to 18 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Lawrence Wesby, who posted eight points.
