DeLaSalle Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. The match between them and East didn't end well, with the DeLaSalle Charter Lions falling 68-51. One positive for the Lions, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

East found their leader in sophomore Jonathan Bruce, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Bruce is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mike Conway, who went 6-for-14 en route to 21 points.

DeLaSalle Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for East, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-12.

DeLaSalle Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East, they will be playing at home against Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st.
