It was a good run, but Squalicum unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 46-35 to the Nooksack Valley Pioneers. The Storm lost against the Pioneers in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 63-27 score last time.

Squalicum's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Nooksack Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Squalicum has already played their next match (against Sehome), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Nooksack Valley will face off against Oak Harbor at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
