Basketball Recap: Sierra Takes a Loss

Sierra lost against Tokay back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sierra Timberwolves received a blow as they fell 55-39 to the Tokay Tigers. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tokay had a senior duo take command as Jason Hallstrom posted 17 points and Maeher Dhaliwal earned 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlo Agbayani, who put up eight points.

Sierra's record now sits at 3-6. As for Tokay, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Sierra and Golden Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tokay, they will venture away from home to challenge Liberty Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
