Baseball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Southwest Guilford

While Southwest Guilford's win against Grimsley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cowboys' pitcher stepped up to hand the Whirlies a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Cowboys have won by just one run.

The result came thanks to Graham Sutherland's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
