Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Fairfield had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Loveland Tigers on Friday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Andrew Dostal was the offensive standout of the game as he had six digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (14).

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield will welcome West Clermont at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Loveland, they will host Turpin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Loveland their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
