Baseball Recap: Wilton-Lyndeborough Takes a Loss

If Wilton-Lyndeborough was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Hinsdale on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 16-3 to the Newmarket Mules on Wednesday. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mules from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Wilton-Lyndeborough's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Newmarket, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wilton-Lyndeborough is set to take on their familiar foe Mascenic Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Newmarket will face off against rival Portsmouth Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
