Red Lion extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 10-4. Everything went their way against the Hempfield Black Knights as they made off with a 7-1 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

As for Hempfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. The game marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

For Hempfield's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Ashton, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Looking ahead, Red Lion will venture away from home to face off against Northeastern at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hempfield, they will challenge Governor Mifflin at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
