Joanna Hurd, Mesilla Valley Christian School's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Tuesday. Hurd turned in her biggest game of the season, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles.

Hurd's strong effort led Mesilla Valley Christian School over Capitan and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
