Softball Game Preview: West York Area Bulldogs vs. Red Land Patriots

The West York Area Bulldogs will square off against the Red Land Patriots at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. West York Area is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

West York Area came up short against Eastern Lebanon County on Wednesday, falling 15-5. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Addison Skimski was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Red Land, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Central Dauphin East get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Thursday. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

Red Land now has a winning record of 3-2. As for West York Area, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

West York Area suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Red Land when the teams last played back in April of 2015. Can West York Area avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
