Softball Game Preview: Manistee Chippewas vs. Benzie Central Huskies

The Manistee Chippewas are taking a road trip to take on the Benzie Central Huskies at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Manistee has given up an average of 15.7 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Manistee came out on top against Bear Lake on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fourth inning. The Chippewas took their match against the Lakers 14-11. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chippewas.

Benzie Central came out on top against Buckley on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run second inning. The Huskies walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Bears.

Manistee's record is now 2-4. As for Benzie Central, their record now sits at 2-0.

Manistee came up short against Benzie Central in their previous matchup back in May of 2018, falling 7-4. Can the Chippewas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
