Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Horizon walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Armwood Hawks on Thursday as they made off with a 76-50 win. Horizon has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 24 points or more this season.

Horizon was led to victory by Bailey Travis and Amaya Mitchell. Travis went 8-for-12 to rack up 21 points in addition to seven boards and four steals, while Mitchell almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds. Those 21 points gave Travis a new career-high. Sienna Astorino was another key player, putting up six points along with six steals and five assists.

Horizon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Horizon's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Armwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Horizon nor Armwood have any future games scheduled.
