Ayden - Grifton's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Washington 6-0. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Pam Pack recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jack Ewell was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Cam Smith also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Southwest Onslow fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against East Duplin on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-4. The Stallions' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.
