Ketcham extended their postseason success on Thursday against Elmira. They blew past the Express 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Storm, who have now won nine matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Nick Mondesando, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

Ketcham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elmira only posted a batting average of .192.

Ketcham is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Elmira, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 13-12 record.

Looking ahead, Ketcham will challenge Pine Bush at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bushmen will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Storm surely won't give up without a fight. Elmira does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
