Basketball Game Preview: St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders vs. Titusville Terriers

The St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders and the Titusville Terriers will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Thomas Aquinas is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season.

St. Thomas Aquinas saw some tournament action on Monday. They received a blow as they fell 70-55 to River Ridge. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 37th in Florida, while the Knights are ranked fourth in Georgia).

Despite the loss, St. Thomas Aquinas saw an underclassman step up: freshman London Thomas posted 28 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thomas has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ronneisha Thomas, who put up 15 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Titusville might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Bayside an easy 39-16 victory. The Terriers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Thomas Aquinas has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Titusville, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
