Basketball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 53-36 bruising from the Metro Tech Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-28 back in January.

Metro Tech found their leader in sophomore Mariah Price, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Melody Rodriguez, who posted 17 points and four steals.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Metro Tech, their win bumped their record up to 6-19.

As of now, neither Central nor Metro Tech have any future games scheduled.
