After a string of seven wins, Badger's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chalker Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22, 17-25, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Badger had strong showings from Brianna Lendak, who had 16 kills, 12 digs, and five aces, and Kyleigh Hall, who had 14 digs and six aces. Lendak has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alison Price, who had 20 digs and 11 kills.

Badger's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Chalker, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.

Badger didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Bloomfield on the 7th. As for Chalker, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Maplewood on the 7th.
