The home team had won the previous four meetings between Grant and Ida B. Wells, and Grant kept the tradition alive. The Generals walked away with  a   9-5  win over the Guardians  on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Generals: when they faced off against the Guardians  on April 11th, they had to take a  2-1  loss.
 Hazel Heron spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up ten Ks.
 At the plate,  Anya Rumage was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Aria Hein, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Grant  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in six consecutive  games.
Grant's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Ida B. Wells,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-12.
 Grant has already played their next matchup,  a  7-6  win against Lincoln on the 30th. As for Ida B. Wells, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  7-6  victory against Cleveland on the 30th.
