            For the second straight game, Sheldon will face off against Laguna Creek. The Huskies will head out to  challenge the Cardinals  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Sheldon has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 19.
Wednesday just wasn't the day for Sheldon's offense. They came up short against  Laguna Creek on Wednesday, falling  18-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 6, 2021, but that streak is no more.
For Laguna Creek's part,  Dom Rivera looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over four innings pitched. Rivera has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.
