Baseball Recap: Westlake's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Westlake's last matchup with Croton-Harmon could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since May 4, 2024.

Westlake saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Pippo, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Westlake fell to 2-1. As for Croton-Harmon, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

While Westlake had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
